Scottsdale, AZ —May 11, 2017 — MWA Intelligence Inc. (MWA), a master value-added reseller (MVAR) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for SAP Business One and leader in enterprise resource planning software (ERP) will rev up their motorcycles and join The Rolling Thunder once again in efforts to support The Jillian Fund.
The ride across the country for Michael T. Stramaglio, President and CEO of MWA Intelligence, Inc. alongside Andy Slawetsky, President of Industry Analysts, Inc. (IA), will begin at MWA’s headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday, May 19th, 2017 and reach the ride’s final destination in Washington, D.C. on May 26th, 2017. As in previous years, MWA and IA will ride in support of The Jillian Fund. While traversing the country, MWA and IA will visit the following dealerships and manufacturers: Muratec, Datamax, Memphis Communications Corporation, Cobb Technologies, and Stones Office Equipment.
In 1987, The Rolling Thunder debuted their first demonstrational ride as the group took a public stance against the negligence of prisoners of war and service members listed as missing in action from the Vietnam War. That inaugural “Ride for Freedom” attracted 2,500 participants and has developed into an ongoing annual event as an estimated 900,000 partake in the Memorial Day weekend road trip to their final destination, the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. The Rolling Thunder’s upcoming annual trip across the country will reach the 30-year mark since its inception.
MWA and IA will be joining the Rolling Thunder for the fourth consecutive year and will continue to ride in support of The Jillian Fund and honor Jillian Gorman’s memory. Dedicated to uniting families and combatting extreme hardships, The Jillian Fund provides financial support to families with children who are suffering life-threatening illnesses that require critical care.
“The Jillian Fund is a fantastic organization and the story of Jillian Gorman is one of poignancy that has touched me and many others very deeply,” said Michael T. Stramaglio, President and CEO of MWA Intelligence, Inc. “Riding in honor of someone as courageous, virtuous and strong as Jillian was while having the ability to share her story and The Jillian Fund’s on a national scale is one of those opportunistic impacts where words can’t do it justice.”
Clover Imaging Group has gone above and beyond through their partnership with MWA and The Jillian Fund by donating a custom painted 2016 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob. The bike will be raffled off at $100 per entry with all proceeds going to The Jillian Fund.
MWA FORZA with SAP Business One is a complete, integrated ERP that provides transparency and instant visibility into operations. The FORZA solution helps dealerships to better unify, manage, and control their entire business across financials, sales, customers, and operations. Together, MWA Intelligence and SAP will provide office technology and imaging channel businesses the ability to make smart IT decisions, improve future performance, and achieve long-term success.
