Where has the time gone? We are only just two months away from the 32nd annual Awards & Charities Dinner hosted by The Cannata Report – the intelligence resource for business technology and imaging solutions resellers – on November 2, 2017, at the Madison Hotel in historic Morristown, New Jersey. The proceeds from the event will go towards the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Throughout the event’s 32-year history, The Cannata Report has raised nearly $2 million benefiting various charitable organizations across the country. This year, by partnering with Hackensack University Medical Center marks the third time that The Cannata Report has participated with the non-profit, research and teaching hospital for its annual charity dinner. The proceeds from the Annual Awards & Charities Dinner will go towards funding direct support to the specialists at the John Theurer Cancer Research Center who are developing new therapies to address cancer.
The Awards & Charities Dinner hosted by The Cannata Report is a celebration of excellence in the business technology industry and imaging channel. It is a night where leaders from the manufacturer, software and services, and financing segments are recognized and lauded for their achievements. The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey, sponsored by EverBank Commercial Finance for the fourth consecutive year, determines the winners of the awards that will be presented in nine categories this year, including “Best Manufacturer: Production Print,” added in 2017 to acknowledge this emerging area of growth for independent dealers. The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey, an industry benchmark conducted across the independent dealer community for 32 years, provides trend data and in-depth analysis across the imaging channel. This year’s survey is being conducted with support from Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, and Toshiba.
This year also denotes special milestones for the The Cannata Report as they celebrate their 35th year as a media brand for the imaging industry. Over the last three decades, their Annual Awards & Charities Dinner has raised approximately $1.7 million for charitable organizations nationwide which has been made possible with the help of generous business partners and dedicated subscribers. Setting the bar high, The Cannata Report hopes to exceed the $2 million benchmark since their event’s inception.
While the Awards & Charities Dinner is the main event of the night, there are more festivities to continue the celebration. In conclusion of the formal dinner and awards presentation, MWA Intelligence will be hosting an official after-party for all of the attendees to come together and prolong the merriment from such a successful year for the industry in its entirety.
Between the delicious food, fantastic people, and an electric atmosphere, this year’s 32nd Cannata Dinner will be another phenomenal event for the imaging channel to shine by combining illustrious industry performance with dedicated corporate social responsibility efforts.
