FORZA Friday – Summer Meet & Greet (Pt 2)

Today’s spotlight focuses on James “Jimmy” Dolan, our second intern for the summer! Jimmy is one of our SAP Business One Support Analyst interns and has been with MWA since late May of 2018. He is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and like Amy – along with the rest of those before him – is a Saint Vincent College student and participant in the school’s SAP Business One program. With plans to graduate in the spring of 2019, he is a rising senior who is looking forward to earning his Finance degree with a concentration in Corporate Finance.

Jimmy is very interested in sports. From hockey to football, he loves watching his hometown teams on the big screen. His favorite sport, however, is golf and is the captain of the Men’s golf team at Saint Vincent College.

Young James’ perfect day can be described as a hot summer day at a golf course – just him and his golf clubs. We’re assuming that Scottsdale wasn’t a hard sell for him to come to for an internship! Jimmy is also a seasoned traveler having been to Germany and the Czech Republic. His favorite meal is a hearty plate of meat and potatoes – sirloin steak to be specific – while washing it down with a refreshing, ice cold Yuengling.

Even though he loves his time on the links, Jimmy also enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Whether it be playing golf with his little brother and dad or going out to the entertainment district in Pittsburgh with his friends, he loves to be around people and share laughs whenever possible.

During his time here at MWA, Jimmy has been working closely with the quality assurance engineering department and the support team. He has taken an interest in writing SQL queries and has come a long way in learning more about writing SQL query reports. After graduation, Jimmy hopes to land a job as a QA engineer after college!
