MWA Intelligence, Inc. (MWAi) is a master value-added reseller (MVAR) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for SAP Business One and leader in enterprise resource planning software (ERP). In layman’s terms, we are a really extremely qualified company that sells software to make other businesses run more efficiently and effective. But we are so much more than just another company and it’s a true testament to our community in the MWAi FORZA family. Our success is a result of providing a friendly atmosphere that encourages imagination, initiation, and innovation. What better way to find out first hand than from our seven new interns we hired for the summer!
With just two weeks left (I know I’m just as sad as you are) for our spotlight blog, this week’s focus is on Brendon Masten from North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. A bit of a migrator in the past, Brendon has called Lexington, Kentucky and Boyertown, PA home in the past. Brendon will return to Saint Vincent College in the fall as a senior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Operational Excellence (OE).
At school, Brendon was a three-time member of the Saint Vincent College men’s lacrosse team but also enjoys participating in athletics of all kinds. He appreciates a breath of fresh air by being outside, engaging in riding bikes and fishing. When asked about his likes, Brendon responded, “Doing things that are fun.” Spoken like the true wordsmith that he is. Being outdoorsy and all, it’s a bit shocking that Brendon doesn’t fair well against any member of the arachnid family. Spiders just don’t do it for this young fellow.
Future diplomacies for Brendon involve finding himself in a project management role somewhere down the road, overseeing companies with IT projects. As his internship winds down here at MWA, Brendon has assumed the role of apprenticeship under the guidance of Jeff Campbell, FORZA Architect and VP of Engineering.
